I have to give this DVD 2 thumbs up. This totally took me by surprise. I figured that those MIT guys would be talking over my head and spitting out math formulas left and right. That could not be further from the truth. This DVD took me step by step into the world of card counting. Semyon lays out his card counting theories & techniques in a format that the "average person" can understand. The DVD not only teaches you the basics of card counting, but also touches upon getting to the "Long Term"/"Making $$$". The DVD captivated me for the full 50 minutes of instruction. It was so well put together that I had to go to www.blackjackscience.com to purchase his second DVD (Advanced Techniques). Now in the second one he once again walks you through the more advanced techniques used by his now infamous Amphibian Team (aka. MIT Blackjack Team). Here he covers Ace Sequencing, Cut-card games, and Shuffle Tracking. It's like having your own MIT Blackjack tutor in the privacy of your own home. If you can't attend his

I am a novice when it comes to blackjack but I have always been interested in the game. I have picked up a blackjack book from time to time, but have never been able to finish one. The material always seemed either a little intimidating and difficult to understand, or at times simply boring. I would liken the experience to trying to learn a computer language for the first time by reading a book - a tough task without the interactive experience of a classroom setting. This is why this DVD is invaluable for someone like me. Not only did this DVD teach me in easy-to-understand steps how to play blackjack and count cards, but more importantly it did so in a way that kept me interested the whole way through. The visual demonstrations and exercises in the DVD are really effective. I was also impresssed by the MIT guys in this DVD. They come across as very credible and genuine guys. I highly recommend 60 Minutes to Winning Blackjack. For those interested in learning how to win at blackjack, it's money well spent.

I like to gamble and play blackjack all the time. I bought both the Blackjack: Winning Strategy Home Training Course and this DVD from the MIT Blackjack Team (they call themselves the Blackjack Institute now) and was very happy with them. I found them to be easy to use and very insightful. I had been losing money for years, but now I feel pretty confident that things are gonna change. I practice all the time now and am heading to Las Vegas for the Super Bowl, and expect to clean up. I am totally amazed by how easy it actual is. The skill drill and excercises on the DVD and in the Home Training Course are both very helpful, and something I haven't see anywhere else. I recommend them both without reservation.
